Lidgard Sails Limited Auckland provided full inventory of sails, some being made of Cuben Fibre and others of Spectra Taffeta laminates. The sails in the photo is the mainsail and Solent made of Cuben Fibre. The yacht has just recently broken the Miami to New York record by 16 hours. |

For the 1995 Route du Rhum Transatlantique Race, a full set of sails was manufactured by Lidgard Sails Ltd in Auckland New Zealand. The mainsail was fitted on a canting wing mast. The maximum cord length of the mast exceed 1.20 m (4ft) . 'Fujicolor II' was leading the race when she lost her rig. |
